You can spend the entire first years of ones life trying to fit in but the later is spent constantly trying to differentiate yourself from the rest of the species. Creating ones own identity so to speak. Does this become frustration and even anger to the point of pushing others away? Do we really just need to calm down?
With all the choices everyone has to make in their lives, an overload of corrections as well as good and bad directions taken. Is everything a two way street, or are we just hitting one fork after another driving us deeper and deeper into our internal wars.
It could be said that the best things in life are free.. but what if most of those things have to be lied for to obtain them? Does it still make them good or just a farce people are willing play to convince ourselves that in the end they really are good people even if nothing in their lives was honest. Back stab a friend here, create meaningless drama there.... serve it up with a lemon and you got yourself a cocktail of bullshit. Who is the better person and who is just your run of the mill attention whore with too much free time? Its hard to tell the difference anymore.
My conundrum comes in at the point of asking... Is it ok to ignore such trivial backwash, or should self respect be more prominent than it would appear the modern world is willing to accept? Can money buy a charming personality mask?
What is someone who isnt willing to play the game to do? Keep calm? I dont want to keep calm.
